I already got this card before. Now I have a different art but it's still the exact same card. Everything about this card, it's cycle, and a cycle similar to it can be read at our Random Card of the Day #58:

Oh, and the card is a 5/5. It's a huge enabler that allows big plays really early. Just be careful about getting 2-for-1'd. And now for today's Sunday special: Double Bundle RCotD!

Initial thoughts:
Wow. What's with the broken alpha cards today? Channel is particularly famous because it was one of the first turn 1 wins. Mountain, Black Lotus for green mana, Channel, Fireball. This was actually really popular for a while until the first turn zero counterspell came: Force of Will. It obviously was not as popular turn one, because they could have Bolt'd you in response, after you lost 19 life.
It's just a huge enabler. One of my friends actually uses it in a Goblin Charbelcher deck. Still kind of confused how I got two mana spells on the same day. At least Channel isn't an instant. Still 5/5.
